Hello robot-enthusiasts! We’re excited to announce a new Steam Powered Giraffe project!
Isabella Bunny Bennett and David Michael Bennett (who play the robots Rabbit and The Spine in the band) will be hosting a brand new podcast called “The Bennettarium.”
Each episode will feature the Bennett twins sitting down and talking with various guests in a very unscripted environment. Guests will include friends, family members, and even fellow Steam Powered Giraffe members like Samuel Luke and Steve Negrete!
The topics we plan to discuss will be everything under-the-sun: video games, movies, art, music, technology, the world, and of course… Steam Powered Giraffe!
For their first episode, the Bennett twins will be joined by fellow band member Chelsea Penayk, who performs as a Walter Worker on stage, does ballet, and handles your orders of SPG Merchandise.
This first episode will go up on Tuesday October 18th 2016 on various podcast apps and websites. Best part is that the audio podcast will be ABSOLUTELY FREE. You can expect the podcast episodes to be available on iTunes, Google Play, the Steam Powered Giraffe website, and the official Steam Powered Giraffe YouTube.
For those of you who are subscribed to our fan donation service, The Engineer-eteer Program, each week that the Bennett’s do the podcast they will livestream video of the podcast’s recording exclusively to Engineer-eteers, with past livestreams being archived after said streams and watchable for Engineer-eteers at their convenience.
If you’re an Engineer-eteer subscriber, join us Monday October 17th 2016 at 3:00pm PT on the Engineer-eteer site’s livestream page (a link to which will appear on the Engineer-eteers site close to it going live) to watch The Bennetts record this first podcast episode live.
If you’re not an Engineer-eteer, feel free to sign up and support the band with a donation and get in on the livestream fun (and the loads of other goodies you get access to for subscribing).
Stay tuned to this website and our social streams for more information as the podcast finds it’s footing and continues to grow.
For now, feel free to follow The Bennettarium’s twitter to stay up-to-date! We’ll post more info on where to download the free audio version of the podcast after the first episode is done.
