I think you’re confusing Rabbit with David Michael Bennett, there, friendo! XD Rabbit has a flame thrower, David has peanut butter. Either way, the upholstery is in trouble…
All the same though, I believe the upholstery IS in trouble considering both of them and their smearing random food items on things and I’m still disappointed in Wanda.
I love how the characters can actually see the words that they say. Or at least that’s what it feels like to me what with the Lo on Loren and the Lo in Lola not making the same sounds. Pretty cool
If you think about her history and what she must have been through, I don’t think you can blame Wanda for being like she is. Her surname isn’t indicative of that nature, though. After all, while Wanda has had to deal with harsh reality, the Beciles prefer to create their own false reality – a shiny and marketable one. The Walters aren’t Wonka-esque dwellers-in-fantasy. Surrealism isn’t about fantasy, it’s about the unfathomable reality we hide from.
Well, according to the timeline, Wanda Walter married Professor Guy Hottie in 1947. Then Professor Hottie was killed in the blast from Rabbit’s power core and Norman Becile was mutated as he is now. It refers to her as Wanda Hottie afterwards, but that’s the only other mention that I can see. I’m not entirely sure. It may be a different Wanda, as Wanda Hottie would be 81 right now. Unless the comic takes place in an earlier time. Yet, I don’t know why she’s a Becile.
One of the characters we’ve seen only gained their current appearance very recently, so this comic also takes place very recently. The Wanda seen here was indeed once a Walter and a Hottie. There is a reason why she is now a Becile, but I’ll let you all figure it out.
Per the timeline, in ’56, Five moved into the manor with Wanda Hottie and Normal Becile who were the caretakers. In 2013, the residents include Wanda Becile and Norman Becile.
Per fans, it is assumed that Wanda married Norman for some reason. There are some nice fics that posit that she did it to protect him from the Beciles or others. I look forward to finding out the ‘real’ reason! steampoweredgiraffe.com/phistory.html
Well damn. Doesn’t even let her talk.
Uh ohO.O. this is amazing tho. the colors are so wonderful as usual!!!
Why is a Becile there?!
doing some very serious Becile type things
She was born a Walter. Check the timeline, she was born in 1926.
Oh no…
Great page as always, though. Love your style 🙂
OH IT’S WANDA!!!
And no one suspected it ever but we all should have.
Also,
WANDA HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN THAT HOUSE?
GIRL, ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Exactly my thoughts!
Maybe Wanda’s recall is going. She’s getting on in years, after all.
Or maybe it’s Prank The Noob Day at Walter Mansion. You gotta keep those robots busy or Rabbit will get bored and happen to somebody.
You don’t want Rabbit to happen to anybody.
It takes forever to get the peanut butter out of the upholstery…
I think you’re confusing Rabbit with David Michael Bennett, there, friendo! XD Rabbit has a flame thrower, David has peanut butter. Either way, the upholstery is in trouble…
My bad. I should have remembered that Rabbit only smears cream cheese on things.
All the same though, I believe the upholstery IS in trouble considering both of them and their smearing random food items on things and I’m still disappointed in Wanda.
this is not her day, is it?
Lol
Hall Of Wires! *fangirling*
Isn’t the Hall Of Wires The Spine’s domain??? (Nudge-nudge, wink-wink)
I love how the characters can actually see the words that they say. Or at least that’s what it feels like to me what with the Lo on Loren and the Lo in Lola not making the same sounds. Pretty cool
Oh, I remember this part from the old comic. The Spine is here <3
Becile?!
I love her face in the last panel!!
Time for The Spine
(Say it out loud it rhymes)
Poor Lorene. This doesn’t seem to be her day.
Bunny’s comment makes me laugh at the thought of the next panel being Lorene seeing the Spine changing in the Hall of Wires.

What a Becile’s doing in the Manor!? Please explain…
EXACTLY.

We were all so wrong! But Omilawdy we’re slightly right. HOW, you may ask?
We’re at the HOW! :’D
this like all your music is amazing, I can’t wait to find out what happens!
THE HALL OF WIRES= SPINE AND QWERTY!!!!!
Hall of Wires! Can’t wait to see the Spine <3
“At least not for humans”.
